The Community of the Glorious Ascension is an Anglican community, established in 1960, whose members live by a modern interpretation of the Benedictine rule. Members take vows of poverty, celibacy and obedience.
The Brothers of the community are based at Lamacraft Farm, near Kingsbridge, in Devon. The Sisters are based at "Prasada" in Montauroux, in the Var, South of France.
Prasada is set on the edge of a Provençal hill village, where guests are welcome for a time of rest and refreshment. Many join the Community in their chapel for the Eucharist and Divine Office. The Sisters are also involved in various activities with the local English-speaking and French communities. These pages relate primarily to the activities of the Sisters, although contact information for the Brothers is provided on the "Contacts" page.
