Summer 2008

Waterfall At the end of May both of us went on holiday to our caravan in the Luberon area of the Vacluse. If anyone is searching for a site in that area we can thoroughly recommend Arc en Ciel near Rousillon the Ocre village. The area has much to offer for visitors. This time we managed to see the Fontaine of the Fontaine de Vaucluse in full flood. It is a most impressive site and the noise is impressive too.
We also made a visit to Aigues Morte in the Camargue. This also is a uniquely interesting town apart from the pleasure of seeing the flamingos, the black bulls and the white horses en route; We also saw a bird called a Stilt with, as the name suggests, long legs.

Baptism Back at the priory we had the pleasure of another baptism at which Cécile officiated.
Then for the first time we had a wedding blessingheld in our chapel. This was of Bruce, the son of a regular member of our worshipping family, to Linda. The reception was in our garden and you can see them cutting the cake. Wedding
This year we both booked again to attend a residential intensive french course held at the Monastère de Ségriès near Moustiers-Sainte-Marie. Jean has already been and Cécile goes in September. The setting is idyllic, the teaching excellent and the food totally delicious. Anyone wanting to improve their French could not do better than to go there
