On Ascension Day we had our traditional Eucharist in the garden. This year it was very special, as The Right Rev Dominic Walker, Bishop of Monmouth was the Celebrant and preacher.

In addition four people were confirmed. Three children, Alex, Jonathon and Sarah together with Alex's father Jim. It was a memorable service and the sun managed to shine until the end of the service, after which the rain sent us indoors for the picnic.

David Sharpe, the former chaplain at Saint Raphaël has visited us and preached at our Sunday Eucharist.

We are looking forward to our Harvest Festival on 2nd. October. Harvest gifts ion tins and boxes will be given to the British Association to be distributed. A harvest Lunch is being arranged by Lizzie, with the now traditional Cottage Pie, cheese and Apple pie.Profits from the Lunch will go to Médecins sans Frontières.
